So a young 20 year old girl is sitting in jail right now just because she took a video of her and her sister in a movie theater while New Moon was playing. She has already been in there for 2 days so far and is possibly looking at 1-5 years in prison if this goes to trial. REALLY?
I dont really understand this that the Usher could snatch that camera and then call the cops. Come on now there is a difference between Piracy and Hanging out. You cant even call this piracy because it never made it to the web. So really why in the world are the tax payer dollars paying for her to sit in jail for this. I do believe Piracy is when you distribute a film or game ect, but 2 minutes and it wasn’t even focused on the movie they were singing Happy Birthday to her sister. I say “LET HER GO” Go catch the kids that are filming the whole movie and selling it on the streets.

WTF thats so IDIOTIC!!! i agree with u markberry. they cant really do that. what happend to freedom of speech? it wrong for a person to take video of u singing happy birthday to ur sister while watchin a movie? WTF has the world come to? instead of spending time arresting innocent ppl they should be arresting the people who have actually videod the whole movie and are selling it for $10 on the streets. i think it is very stupid to throw her in jail ESPECIALLY if the video didn’t focus on the movie. there should be a law about piracy, you know like guidelines as to what it is. if there are I don’t think its LEGAL to keep her there. I think that max. they could fine her but not hold her in jail.
